Maureen Lovett
Arts Director
After receiving a BA in Studio Art from the University of Virginia, Maureen Lovett followed every other college graduate to the land of opportunity: New York City. While in NYC, Maureen became an ardent supporter of the International Arts Movement. Having seen the light, she returned to her home state and quickly became involved in a loose collective of Charlottesville creatives, known as the New City Arts Initiative. As a printmaker and creative enthusiast, Maureen dabbles in artist books and relief prints. She values collaboration of all sorts, a decent cup of coffee, the prefix “neo-,” and the guerilla arts.
