NCAI’s Artist-in-Residence at The Haven provides much-needed shelter for Charlottesville artists, in exchange for the artists’ creative involvement with The Haven. By extending the working space of the artist out of the home and into a physical space in the community, New City Arts hopes for new relationships, projects, and provision to be sustained through this coordinated effort of local hospitality.

This year’s artists include Victoria Long, Elizabeth Kleberg, and Chicho Lorenzo. (In the spirit of sharing and making, Victoria is also loaning her studio to Meagan Dye on the weekends).
