Hannah Barefoot at WVTF

On Friday, February 1 from 5-7 PM, join NPR, WVTF, Radio IQ, and New City Arts for “BUSHES/HILLS“– a multi-media installation involving prints, drawings, and video by Hannah Barefoot at the WVTF and Radio IQ Studio Gallery and the empty storefront, adjacent to WVTF.

In the WVTF and Radio IQ Studio Gallery, Hannah will exhibit drawings and prints. In the adjacent space to WVTF, the artist will exhibit video in a temporary installation only open to the public during the opening on February 1 from 5-7 PM.

Hannah Barefoot is a fifth year Aunspaugh Fellow at the University of Virginia. In Charlottesville, the artist has previously exhibited at The Shuckster, The Garage, and The Ruffin Gallery at UVA. Hannah’s new work includes prints and videos exploring the implication of a human’s presence in the landscape. Hannah is examining the relationship between observing and inhabiting the landscape alongside US 29.

Food wil be provided by Feast! and wine will be provide by Jefferson Vineyards. The WVTF and Radio IQ Studio building and the adjacent pop up gallery are located at 216 W. Water St.
