What does it mean to join New City Arts?

It is as simple as being willing to receive our email about events and opportunities. And we hope the communications will flow both ways: as you want to collaborate with others in a project, or want to let others know about an event, please let us know. Click here to become an associate. Close

On August 12 from 5 PM to 8 PM (or maybe a little later), join Matt Kleberg at JohnSarahJohn for music, drinks, and his exhibit, “Ordinary Time”.

If you missed JSJ’s August First Friday opening, here’s your second chance. This time, the artist will be present, and Nettles will be performing.

JohnSarahJohn recently transformed a vast transmission shop (across from Blue Moon Diner on W. Main St.) into a retail store, working studio, espresso bar and event space. Kleberg’s show, “Ordinary Time,” features new work that poses questions about the dialogue between disaster and relief in our everyday lives.

Music and beverages are free, so bring a friend. To see the work at JohnSarahJohn during the month of August, the shop is open 12-7pm ThursdayFriday, and Saturday. For more information, email Matt.
