» The Gleason Gallery
On Friday, June 3 from 5-8 PM, the marriage of art and commerce takes place in The Gleason Building.
Octagon Partners, developers of The Gleason– a mixed-used, downtown condominium project– are using the wide open 4,865 sq. feet of the ground floor of The Gleason (with its wrap-around floor to ceiling windows) to showcase McGuffey Art Center artists.
In June, sculpture by Rick Weaver and June Heintz will be on display, alongside colorful paintings by Krista Townsend, Karen Blair, Matt Kleberg, and Aaron Eichorst.
Refreshments will be provided from The C&O. To visit the exhibit through June by appointment, contact The Gleason Concierge. The Gleason is located just two blocks south of Water Street and the Downtown Mall, at the corner of 2nd and Garrett Street. For inquiries, contact klblair [at] aol.com or markmascotte [at] gmail.com.
