On Friday, January 21 at 8 PM at The Southern, Chris Campanelli & the Dusty Jackets will open for headliner, Paul Curreri.

Chris Campanelli & the Dusty Jackets are a young Charlottesville four-piece folk rock band with songs to sing. Having shared the stage with the likes of David Dondero and Birdie Busch through this past summer and fall, they’ve been steadily carving out their own plot within the larger field of the folk-rock tradition.

Raised in Richmond, Virginia, Paul Curreri now makes his home in Charlottesville, along with his wife, singer/songwriter guitarist Devon Sproule. Paul’s most recent album, California, is his first album in three years. According to The Hook, “Curreri sounds like the sum of the best folk musicians from across the country, ground up into pulp, and deposited into one hip vessel.”

Tickets can be purchased in advance here. For more information, visit The Southern Cafe and Music Hall online.
